Ballan Station

Kyriacou Architects and SMEC, in consortium with Lend Lease and Coleman Rail, are delivering the Ballan station as part of Ballarat Line Upgrade Project. The $10 million upgrade will deliver more trains and provide extra services during peak times, helping to improve growth in large residential communities and serving the town of Ballan.

Ballan station preserves the heritage aspects of historical station with modern design for heritage values to coexist in growing local society. The upgraded station building maintains heritage value of local experience by reducing existence of building feature with transparent design approach. Kyriacou Architects are Lead Architects overseeing station design and function, and Master Planning of the station precincts.
